May 30 9:00 AM Nassau Meadow/Ranch Prizes will be awarded to the players with the lowest gross and lowest net on the front 9, the back 9 and the overall 18 hole round.

*June 6 8:30 AM Low Gross/ Low Net Ridge/ Meadow Prizes will be awarded for Low Gross and Low Net, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin.

June 13 8:00 AM King for the Day – Uno, Dos, Tres Best Ball Meadow/Ranch Each team will consist of a randomly created ABCD combination of 3 ladies and 1 man from the Men’s Club. Each player will play their own ball and record their Gross Scores. Uno: On all Par 5’s, the 1 Best Ball will be chosen. Dos: On all Par 4’s, the 2 best balls will be chosen. Tres: On all Par 3’s, the 3 best balls will be chosen.

June 20 8:00 AM 2019 Pole Creek Ladies Invitational Meadow/Ranch Ladies only scramble tournament open to Grand County Residents, 2nd Homeowners and Friends. Prizes & fun contest holes. Registration deadline: June 13th. Fee: $20 includes lunch and $60 green fee if guests don’t have a season pass.

June 27 8:00 AM Solheim Cup Alternate Shot Match Play Meadow/Ranch On each hole, Player A from each team hits their team’s respective tee shots. Then Player B from each team hits the second shot. Then the third shot is hit by Player A, and so on, until the ball is holed. Players drive on alternate holes regardless of who last putted on the previous hole. The team in each foursome with the lower score wins the hole. The team winning the most holes wins the match. The US Team and Europe Teams each have a Team Captain and team uniform/ colors. Sign-up deadline is: June 17th to allow time to set up teams and team strategy. Once your match is over, continue to play and complete the 18-hole round.

*July 4* 8:00 AM Gross / Net Skins Ridge/ Meadow Lowest gross and lowest net per hole in each flight will win the money for that hole. If there is a tie, the money carries over to the next hole. Record gross scores each player.

July 11 8:00 AM Gold Tee Day / Red Tee Option for HI ≥ 23/CH 25 Meadow/Ranch Players with Handicap Index (HI) ≤ 22/ Course Handicap (CH) 24 must play Gold Tees. (HI) ≥ 23/ (CH) 25 play Red Tees unless player opts to sign-up for Gold Tees. Prizes will be given for Low Gross and Low Net for both Gold Tee and Red Tees. Rules and Handicap Clinic after golf today. All members are encouraged to attend.

July 18 8:00 AM PGA Pick a Pro Meadow/Ranch A list of the PGA Pros who qualified for the Open Championship will be provided for you Thursday morning. The Thursday score of the Pro you pick will be added to your Net score. Après Golf at Adolfs thanks to Gigi and Jan! 

July 25 8:00 AM Match Play Meadow/Ranch Each hole is a separate competition. The player with the higher handicap will be given strokes on the most difficult holes. The player who wins the most holes wins the match. 50% of us will be winners! There will be 2 Flights.

* Aug 1 8:00 AM Stableford Ridge/ Meadow Record your gross score. Golf Genius will compute your Stableford score based on Net score. Points awarded as follows: Double Eagle 5 pts, Eagle 4 pts, Birdie 2 pts, Par 0 pts, Bogey -1 pt, Double Bogey or more -3 pts.

Aug 8 8:00 AM Skills Day Meadow/Ranch Points awarded for: Closest to the pin, Drive closest to the centerline, Longest drive, Fairways F (drive is on fairway Par 4’s and 5’s), Greenies G (on green in regulation), Sharkie SK (par a hole in which you found water), Sandie S (par a hole when in the sand), Barkies B (par if you hit a tree), Arnies A (Par on a Par 4 or Par 5, when never on the fairway), Hogan H (Par on Par 4 or Par 5 – drive on fairway, on green in regulation), Modified Murphy M (call an up and down before you chip), Flaggie FL (sink a putt on the green longer than length of flagstick), Super Flaggie SF (sink a putt on the green longer than 4 flagstick lengths.) Ferret FE (Chip in from off the green).

Aug 15 8:30 AM 2 Person Blind Partner Best Ball Meadow/Ranch Record your gross score on the card. Your blind partner will be revealed at the end of the round. Gross and net prizes will be awarded.

*Aug 21 8:30 AM Club Championship – 2 Flights Ranch/Ridge Record your gross score. (Pairings from low to higher handicaps starting on the 1st hole.)
Aug 22 8:30 AM Club Championship / Luncheon Meadow/ Ranch Record your gross score. Pairings will be made according to results, low to high. Luncheon after golf on August 22nd – Janet Conneely’s home. Thanks to Janet! 

Aug 29 8:30 AM Hot Ball Meadow/Ranch 4 Person team game: After all 4 people drive, the team decides who is the Hot Ball and that person plays their ball in to the hole. The other 3 play a scramble. Each player needs to be the Hot Ball once on the front 9 and once on the back 9.

*Sept 5 9:00 AM Aces Wild Ridge/ Meadow Subtract all 1 putts from gross score. Prizes for low gross and low net (100% of handicap).

Sept 12 9:00 AM Win, Place & Show Meadow/Ranch On each hole, the player with the low net score wins 3 points, the second lowest wins 2 points and the third lowest wins 1 point. Ties are assigned the same score. The overall winner is the one with the most points. Sign up separately for the Win, Place & Show & the Horse Race. Horse Race – Following play, all players start on the 1st hole. The highest 4 scores are eliminated on #1. The remaining players tee off on #2. The highest 3 scores are eliminated, and so on until the best player stands. Prizes awarded for 1st and 2nd place in the Horse Race. After you are eliminated, you are encouraged to cheer on the other players. The Bev Cart will accompany us. You will receive a complimentary drink and more can be purchased!

Sept 19 9:30 AM 3 Clubs and a Putter Meadow/Ranch Choose 3 clubs and a putter for your golf bag. Leave the rest of your clubs in your car. Record gross/ net scores on scorecard. Scores can’t be posted.

Sept 26 9:30 AM Vegas Baby Meadow/Ranch The players in their foursome exchange chips on every hole. At the end of the round, the Bad Chips are subtracted from the Good Chips. The player with the most Good Chips in each group will win a prize. The Good Chips are: Longest Drive, Net Eagle, Net Birdie, Chip In, 3 Net Pars in a Row, Longest 1 putt. The Bad Chips are: 3 Putt, Water Hazard, Worm Burner, Sand, Trees, Swear Chip (S*#!, GD, F-bomb, Damn).

Sign up or cancel online before 6 pm Monday for the following Thursday’s play on Golf Genius www.golfgenius.com. Be sure to click on SAVE and WAIT for the save to process before going to another webpage. Golf Genius locks out access to sign-up or cancel at 6 pm Monday. If you must cancel after that time, text or call Mary Brooks (303) 494-3 031 or Lori Myers at (970) 531-0006. Do not contact the Pro Shop for changes or cancellations. We will do our best to mix up the pairings and start holes. Special requests and last minute cancellations make this more difficult, so bear this in mind to be considerate of everyone in the club.
CHECK IN at least 40 minutes before our shotgun start. Days, starting times, games and course played may be adjusted when necessary.

*When playing Ridge/Meadow, Ridge is the Front 9 on your scorecard.
*When playing Ranch/Ridge, Ranch is the Front 9 on your scorecard.

Record Gross Score legibly on scorecard. Tournament Chairs will compute game score. Keep Putts for the foursome on a separate scorecard. Circle your gross birdies. All 4 players must sign the Master scorecard. Your signature verifies that each hole score, front 9, back 9 and total 18 hole score is correct.
